LAST
MIDGET PLUS BASEBALL PARK TO BE DESTROYED FOR MORE
SOCCER!!
The city of
Pointe Claire is deliberating the destruction of a
community landmark in favour of another soccer
field. There are 17 soccer facilities in Pte
Claire already. 9 rated for 11 man and 8 for 7 man,
and yet there seems to be a wish to take away the
last baseball park in the municipality.
WE NEED YOUR
SUPPORT AND THAT OF THE COMMUNITY, TO KEEP THE
BASEBALL PARK AT TERRA COTTA OPEN FOR BASEBALL!
Try to think of
any other place with a population exceeding 30,000
that would consider such a thing. This is a
travesty. If you have friends or family who live in
Pointe Claire. I urge you to encourage them to
send Bill McMurchie at City Hall with a loud and
clear message.
